Codonics公司(Middleburg Heights, OH, USA)研发的Horizon干式成像仪，综合媒体选择为工作人员提供了胶片成像仪所不能提供的功能。这套系统为临床医生在一套设备中提供了胶片、彩色、和灰度相纸，为成像中心提供了确保参考实验室安全的工具。

这套成像仪适合放射科从胶片的包围中，转变为较少使用胶片。代替Codonics DirectVista低成本灰度相纸，这种相纸用于传统胶片印刷，能够节约工作人员65%的胶片成本。而且尤其适合出报告的医生，因为能够在房间的灯光下阅读，而不会降低影像的质量。照片重量的相纸能够和胶片一样存档。

Substituting Codonics DirectVista low-cost grayscale paper for conventional film prints can save facilities up to 65% off their current film costs.
